What I like about Q.E.D.:
this is one of the works that bucks the stereotypes of Japanese cultural expectations for and representation of women while also being extremely true to the case-fic genre
This work has a lot of buddy trope built-in
the case-fic gene is still interspersed with subtle relationship advancements,
Interesting STEM concepts are touched upon
there isn’t a “the law is harsh but the law is the law” theme that a lot of detective mangas do
the manga is focused on truth, not judgement and not justice

Prompts:
Feelings are more implicit in the manga and tangental, what are our characters feeling? Particularly, Sou has a really good poker face in the manga, anything that explores his perspective is interesting to me.
Anything that explores the more humanistic side to this casefic manga would be neat! I think one of the interesting things about this series is that it doesn’t take a hardline “the law is harsh, but the law is the law” which a lot of detective works do. Sou very clearly lets off people blatantly breaking the law if it’s in his judgment that’s the right thing to do.

Yoshino having emotional infidelity about Kirishima would also be fine

There's just so much about this series that could be explored. I prefer realistic takes on the yakuza (not romanticised at all; more like the series' brutal commentary or even more critical, real-world esque)
I really love Souma and Yoshino's dynamic as well (ambiguously romantic or platonic or one or the other is fine)
